How a Lucid round works
- Commit. Before a round opens we publish a SHA-256 hash of the server seed. The seed itself stays sealed.
- Mix. Your client seed (or a public daily seed for shared rounds) gets HMAC-SHA-256’d with the server seed and a per-round nonce. The output drives the random outcome.
- Reveal. When the round ends we publish the server seed. Anyone can re-run the hash and confirm both the original commit and the outcome.
The full math, the audit logs, and the open-source verifier are linked from each game’s history view. There is no “house mode” — the same algorithm runs for every player.
